Recently some of our clients have had multiple Anti-Virus programs loaded onto their computer. This is one of those cases where if one is good, two is definitely not better! An Anti-Virus program needs to be top-dog among all of your applications in order to find the viruses and mal-ware, and then remove them from your computer. When you have multiple Anti-Virus programs loaded onto your computer, they are all vying to be the top program. This causes your computer to run more slowly.
If you do have multiple Anti-Virus programs running on your machine, pick one to keep. Then completely uninstall and remove the other(s). This should help the general performance of your machine.
