Using Windows software on your Mac
Many people have switched from a Windows machine to a Mac recently, but found that the Mac will not allow them to run some of their programs that posed no problems on their old HP or Sony.
For these customers, Chris has installed and configured a program called "Parallels" which allows you to continue using, for example, Quickbooks, on your new Mac.
The company has released a new version this week - "Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac" which works with the new Lion version of Apple's Operating System. The product was reviewed by Walt Mossberg, who regularly writes the "Personal Technology" column for the Wall Street Journal.
